Brandon Boyd
Brandon Boyd, MD was born and raised in Morristown, TN. He graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville summa cum laude. He subsequently completed medical school training from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Following medical school, he completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga at Erlanger.
He continued his training for a one-year fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center in Philadelphia, PA. He is currently a clinical instructor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and of Plastic Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. His special interests include hand and upper extremity trauma, arthritis of the wrist and hand, nerve compression and nerve injuries, as well as arthroscopy of the wrist and hand. Dr. Boyd enjoys spending time with his wife, Christie, and their daughter, Kinsley, aviation, running, and Tennessee football.
